Beauty for ashes
Unnoticed before this morning, a glorious growth of golden, glowing beauty on an old cherry tree. I think I shall pick a bouquet of dahlias for my husband's homecoming tomorrow - minus Mr. Bumble. That's it for now from . . .
My sheeps and me did a whole lot of praying for Rick this morning Michelle. He (you both) have so many good things to do yet that the good Lord will not break up a great like you guys. Have no fear, you, Rick and Brian will walk side by side for many years yet.
Sorry to hear about your husband but sounds like our good Lord is with him as we know he is. I love your photos; you capture such beauty and display it here for us.
I was so glad to hear that your husband is recovering quickly and coming home already! And I would also like to say that I am uplifted by your positive attitude during this trying time. There are those that like to point fingers and place blame, and you have continued to keep your face pointed into the wind and deal with what you must. Kudos to you for being such a strong partner for your hubby and son. I admire you the more because of it. What's the old saying, "It's not how you handle good times that's the measure of a person, but how you had the hard times". Kelly
SO glad that Rick is coming home. That's the best place for rest and recup. Perhaps he can take up spindling? :o) What WERE those things on the tree? Gorgeous!
I'm a blogger - I love comments! Oh, and you DON'T have to check that box proving you're not a robot; you'll still be able to leave your comment without it!
It has to be a big relief to know that Rick is well enough to come home! I'm happy for your family.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful news that you can gather flowers for such a welcome home...life is precious...never sweat the small stuff again!
