A few thoughts and lots of shots

I love having the house to myself first thing in the morning. I resent it when no one else but me gets up and at 'em in the morning. It's complicated.

I wish I could stop and take pictures every time I see something that catches my eye – which is often.

It is a pleasant revelation that from a few days' perspective, having an awful birthday is really no big deal.

Believers don't need to be reminded to pray. Non-believers don't appreciate being told to pray.

That's it for today from . . .

  1. Beautiful photos. You still have hummers???? Lucky you, ours are long gone and it's a good thing, we had 10 inches of snow yesterday. Sorry you had a crap b-day. It happens.

    1. Whoa; ten inches!?! I know you need it, but I'll take mine in liquid form.

We have a few hummers year-round here. We almost have year-round flowers of some kind, although I don't know if they are all nectar-producers. Fortunately, humans supplement. ;-)

  2. There were three Hansen's spinners at the spinning meeting on Saturday, a first for me. I saw them demo'ed at BSG and I thought hmmm - and then you bought one. They're so little, easy to carry and make huge skeins. I get the attraction :)
