BBBAAAWWWKAAAWWWWKKKK!!!! :) Congratulations!! It's amazing how tough those shells can be (especially in young chickens)I wouldn't worry that there wasn't a nice layer for it to sit on (though I guess it does make a "pretty" picture). Enjoy....you will never want another store bought egg again (and you'll think twice about ordering breakfast at a restaurant!)
NICE! You are in business now! I guess it took having you go all the way to Missouri to see some real 'egg laying chickens' to get your girls in gear! :-) Tammy
Eggcellent! Congratulations on the egg! Everyone is right - you will never go back to store-bought eggs again. Be prepared for more chickens; you will need them once everyone is hooked on the eggy goodness of farm eggs.
Comment on previous post; How pretty! Cables are about the only stich in knitting that makes me what to knit better, just not enough to make me do it ;-) I cant wait to see the finished product! Nice egg!
I'm a blogger - I love comments! Oh, and you DON'T have to check that box proving you're not a robot; you'll still be able to leave your comment without it!
Congrats on the egg! You'll get spoiled quickly by fresh eggs.
