Wednesday weather, wood, and wool

The day started out chilly and drippy, perfect for indoor pursuits. So I gathered all the pieces of my "Jacob spinning project" together for a photo shoot:
That's my HansenCrafts maple miniSpinner spinner poised to ply 106g of singles for a Jenkins YarnTools Ravelry anniversary challenge; and my Jenkins bubinga Finch spindle poised to spin the remaining roving while more singles await their plying date in my figured maple bowl. So much beautiful wood; so much beautiful (if scratchy) wool.

That's it for now from . . .

  1. Lovely Michelle, I do so love those beautiful greys. Some hardwearing mittens maybe,
a fisherman's vest? So much to that can be done with sturdy wool
