I enjoy the Scrub Jays - what characters! We called them the "cops" at our house in Red Rock because they'd run off the gangs of icky birds that would come migrating through like blackbirds and cow birds.
I'm a blogger - I love comments! Oh, and you DON'T have to check that box proving you're not a robot; you'll still be able to leave your comment without it!
Hahahaha! I didn't get it right away but when I did ... I laughed. You are too funny.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
ReplyDeleteHee-hee! Very good! That's some kind of a jay? We don't have that around here.
ReplyDeleteRK, it WAS a windy day. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. Could hardly believe they came out that good shooting from my chair through the window. Those birds are notoriously flighty.
That's a scrub jay, Mama Pea; we have those and Steller's jays here.
Took me a minute too, but then I noticed those feathers. :)

ReplyDeleteNow wouldn't that make a great Julie sketch! We don't get the Scrub Jay's this high up but we do have plenty of the cheeky Stellar Jays.
