(Warning: Photo heavy!)
The home I was hoping would open up for Dicey hasn't materialized; she's still here.
She's decided I'm her person (she's sitting beside me in the chair as I type).
I wish I could get a photo of all three dogs posing together like Sheena does over on WooTube; I don't think any of the photos I've taken capture just how diminuitive she is compared to Jackson and Dozer.
She's smaller than our petite barn cat Oreo.
(Oreo saw Dicey in close proximity for the first time this morning at the barn; she wasn't sure if Dicey was prey or predator!)
She wouldn't be able to fit in this nest that fell from a fir in our pasture,
but she is quite sure she fits anywhere in our home...
...and in our hearts.
From the three-dog farm at . . .
LOL! Yep, a foster flunkie in the making.....
ReplyDeleteSo, I don't need to save space on our bed for little Miss Diva. Oh and even though she i a long coated Chi, they like to be warm in the cold weather. Her own blanket (we buy cheap down ones from Overstock) that she can "nest" in and curl up when the weather is cold. Polar fleece gets too much static in winter and can be quite flammable near a wood stove. Old wool blankets cut up work too. I'm betting Dozer likes to do all of the above too.
Gosh, she is shaped like a Schipperke, but looks like a Chi! She's a DOLL!
ReplyDeleteBless you, bless you, bless you. She found her forever home!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad she has found her home! Lucky pup! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteYay Dicey!
ReplyDeletethose are the best kinds...their love leads them to us.
ReplyDeleteto home.
