What an absolutely beautiful day it's been! After taking these two photos I just had to soak it up without looking for ways to share it with you because my camera battery died. It's charging now, so it'll be rarin' to go this weekend. We're taking a whirlwind trip down the Columbia River Gorge to Walla Walla, WA and back this weekend for a family gathering, and I want my camera at the ready. This time of year can bring nasty driving weather, but today's perfection is supposed to continue well into next week; what a blessing. I look forward to scenic vistas, lots of knitting time, and making memories.
