New day dawning
Today Peaches and Sweet Cheeks were integrated into the flock, and lived to tell about it.
Today there was a cancellation in a dressage show, so my training project will be making his debut this Sunday. Praying that I live to tell about it. (Just kidding . . . mostly.)
Today my ten-year-old drove me from the barn to the house in our manual transmission Ford F-250 so he could unload the firewood in the back before the dressage show. I lived to tell about it.
That's it for now from . . .
sounds like a very cool day! Good luck with the show.
ReplyDeleteLove the sunrise. Soon he will be driving everywhere by himself, times flies so fast. Good luck at the show.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for tackling the show and for being a brave mamma and riding with the son... I went through 3 daughters learning to drive and I lived through it (barely).
ReplyDeleteBrian DRIVING???? Now I have to go look at Horton's post.
ReplyDeleteWow, it's your lucky day! Maybe you should buy one of those lottery tickets...
ReplyDeleteFarm kids have the advantage of being able to learn to drive when they're still young enough to be cautious and listen to Mom. He'll develop his skills and sense of space so when he hits the wide open (or in your case, curvy hilly) roads he'll be a much better driver than the vast majority of driving teens.
ReplyDeletenice love it!
