Wait-for-it Wednesday

Two weeks ago I shared photos of the blossom on a cactus start Rick brought home. We thought it was lovely then; little did we know it wasn't even close to its full glory!

These photos were taken last weekend; it is finally fading. But what a glorious show!

    Mom used to have some of those (Epimediums, I think), and their flowers were gorgeous, although since they were yellows and creams, not nearly so stunning as yours!!

    You probably already know, since I think you follow her blog, but I just read that Nancy Krohn (Bluff Country Shetlands) is selling her farm and selling off ALL her sheep and chickens too. So sad......
