Oh baby!

Last night after chores I hung out in the fold with the girls, watching, loving, feeling. I was hoping to detect fetal movement within Katie's and Annabelle's round bellies, but their lambs were laying quiet. Then, to my great surprise, I felt a LOT of movement when I placed my hand under Bronwen's trim tummy! Woot! Maybe, just maybe, I can begin to hope she and Annabelle will give me Barish babies after all. Here they are, enjoying a dry (if not sunny) Friday out in their lot:

Up above, a robin actually held still long enough for my trusty Panasonic to zoom in and capture him:

There's excitement inside the house as well. Late last night, after a few trips to the frog pond, I finally managed to finish the first two charts of Maia:
Ooooh, I'm liking this! Love the colors, love the beads; I can tell now it's going to be hard to tear myself away to work on anything else - or go to bed, if last night is any indication!

That's it for now from . . .

  1. Great about Bronwyn!

I love the lace pattern, and the beads. I can see how it would be hard to put down (just one more repeat...).

You definitely have saggy, lamb bellies going on there.

  6. Growing lambies snuggled in Moms and beautiful knitting - what a happy life!! I keep telling myself to pick up some knitting needles, yarn, and a refresher manual on knitting and try it again. It's been over 30 years, but it might keep me occupied away from the computer!!!

  13. I am incredibly jealous - lambs in tummies and I see green grass in those photos. How on earth can that be possible? And a ROBIN! Sigh. You are so lucky.

  14. I try to feel my goats' bellies for movement, but am still not always certain if it's kids or digestion, LOL.

Love the beads in the knitting!
