    I'm very sorry Michelle - I believe everything happens for a reason even though we aren't always privvy to the reason why.
    Please don't beat yourself up - you didn't fail her - you provided her a loving, caring home until the very end. That's all any of us can do.

    I'm so sorry, Michelle. I've been there and it's a sad place to be. It does make one feel helpless (even with a resident vet). Remember, you loved and cared for her while she was there.

    So sorry to hear about your loss of Brava....this is the hard part of owning and caring for our animals...sometimes our best just isn't enough. Rest easy knowing you did everything that you could....and she is no longer in any pain or distress.

    Please don't blame yourself.

    You have a vet on-site! He did everything he knew to do, and you did everything you knew to do.

    Sometimes bad things happen, despite the most conscienscious care.

    The loss is heartbreaking. Please try not to take on too much guilt in addition.
