Tending fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and a whole lot more on a small acreage in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

Do you see what I see?
First daffodil: First flowering tree: Promise of more blooms to come: It's so nice to have a camera in hand again - and just in time for shearing tomorrow! Say good-bye to woolly sheep: That's it for now at . . .
Oregon? Oregon? WTH! I thought you were on a different continent at least, in order to be showing green grass and daffodils.
We've had snow all day today, here. Not much accumulated - the ground level temp was warm enough for most of it to melt ... but still! We won't see any green or new green until May. Mid-May.

Love these shots! We got our first daffodil just in time for "Colors of February" and I've got more on the way! Very exciting, especially after the long cold winter we've been having.
I consider these types of beautiful pictures a form of torture for those people like myself who still have inches and inches of snow on the ground and are getting more tomorrow:)
I saw your daffodils, Leigh - earlier than ours! Of course, you are much further south - not that anyone could tell with all the snow you've gotten this winter!
Kristi, my photos are supposed to give you HOPE! :-)
I'm a blogger - I love comments! Oh, and you DON'T have to check that box proving you're not a robot; you'll still be able to leave your comment without it!
