ReplyDeleteWe've got day lilies in spades but I can't eat 'em. I'm crossing my fingers that my green tomatoes will turn red before the frost. We've picked exactly two. I spent $12 at the farmer's market on tomatoes because I love them so much. Grow!!!
ReplyDeleteSo do you guys eat daylilies? They're quite good...different colors have different flavors even! I have 2 cookbooks devoted to daylilies, though I've failed to try anyway because I generally just break off the buds and eat them before they get in the house...lol.
