Not to be outdone . . .

. . . the chickens laid NINE eggs today!


Will someone explain to me how EIGHT hens can do that? And does this foretell a litter from Inky?

  1. I absolutely love the look of natural colors eggs. They are so pretty that some years ago I took the time to blow out about 18 eggs of different colors including Aracana and displayed them in a basket.

  2. Some hens lay 1 1/2 eggs a day, espically heavy laying breeds, so you may have gotten the halves to meet up...lol

  3. We once had a hen (when we only had about 6) that skipped a day. The next day she layed one in the morning and then one at night. Your lamb should be nice and grow nice wool!
