I have mixed feelings about the seasons changing. We've had such a mild summer that I wouldn't mind those temps hanging around for a while. And, the time seems to be just rushing by faster than my mind can accept. I'd like to just hit the pause button for a good long while. We are cooler here on the ridge, but the garden is still giving us bounty, and we are thankful! I did get the fall display started this week, with my bales of straw placed, and the pumpkins set out, but due to rain, we haven’t set out the scarecrows yet. Fall is my favorite season, and we have been putting up PawPaw, Persimmons, and the black walnut harvest is starting to show signs … always busy busy busy !
