I do chores early morning, late afternoon and stay in the house during heat of the day. It makes for crazy scheduling but, somehow, it works.Thistle Cove Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15722295191884810953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-66038595059880306362015-06-25T11:53:53.951-07:002015-06-25T11:53:53.951-07:00Glad Benny is better! The ermine is beautiful but I'm guessing could be a real nuisance around chickens. The kitties around here have been working overtime and I'm about tired of finding the 'remains'.

TammyTammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02131066591477169851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-29001154343627619322015-06-25T11:23:23.530-07:002015-06-25T11:23:23.530-07:00Oreo - what a cute name for a black and white cat!...Oreo - what a cute name for a black and white cat!!Retired Knitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13662288640032813770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-40197532791246222312015-06-25T09:15:24.173-07:002015-06-25T09:15:24.173-07:00I am NOT a fan of hot. Weasels are fascinating, but deadly around poultry. They kill without limit of appetite. Not a big fan of summer here either and we are all on fire watch since thunderstorms are expected this weekend. Hot, dry parched earth and it's not even August yet. As for the heat, fortunately our heat pump still cools effectively, even though the heating function stopped working early last winter.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01550786937196525098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-57527819843411870792015-06-24T20:18:00.240-07:002015-06-24T20:18:00.240-07:00When did you start the peppers? We have lots of small wild creatures (and deer), I'd love to add an ermine to the mix! I hope you're able to see a live one. Stay as cool as possible these next few days.
