She would put her nose up against it and shove it all over the yard at a dead run.Quail Hill Knitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09124002263514806105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-30134589365270342372008-02-05T21:27:00.000-08:002008-02-05T21:27:00.000-08:00The two German Shorthair Pointers we had when we l...The two German Shorthair Pointers we had when we lived in town chewed rocks all the time and wore their teeth down to chompers. They were my running partners so got plenty of exercise. I have no idea what attraction the rocks held for them.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06432035940956042729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-9334430693474684062008-02-05T06:58:00.000-08:002008-02-05T06:58:00.000-08:00Our bloodhounds pick up fist-size rocks all the ti...Our bloodhounds pick up fist-size rocks all the time and chew on them, strut around with them, and then leave them in a traffic path for me to hurt myself on (nothing like stepping on a rock in the middle of the night when one gets up to use the facilities). I've given up trying to figure out why they do it a long time ago but I do know they're not the only ones. I just hope they never swallow one or we'll have a bloat situation and that's scary.Lauren Dorsee Dillonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12162879010179005782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-62963860594999982742008-02-05T06:14:00.000-08:002008-02-05T06:14:00.000-08:00I have a horse that chews on gravel, but I dont th...I have a horse that chews on gravel, but I dont think I have ever seen a dog do it :)<BR/>Its funny though what they will do to stay occupied. Our pitbull mix has been doing strange things lately; she obssesively nibbles on cloth. Strange because she is about 4 years old and has never done it before. I have started bringing bones home from the store, hopeing this will help.~~Sittin.n.Spinninhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13488509291525218944noreply@blogger.com
