My favorite teddy bear has traveled from New York to California, Florida to Canada and the Virgin Islands, Mexico and Italy with me! I don't go anywhere (overnight) without "Chuck". He looks really cute with his head and chest and arms peaking out of my carry on luggage when I get on a plane...Nancy K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06061265740359266798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-35008396625502469072010-08-17T05:02:45.109-07:002010-08-17T05:02:45.109-07:00I vote fair isle project, btw.I vote fair isle project, btw.thecrazysheepladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10835269631172344336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-33728047439313922092010-08-17T05:01:37.051-07:002010-08-17T05:01:37.051-07:00This is for Brian. I have to try to spin that thin and try a lace scarf myself one of these days, and yes a fair isle is a must do at some point as well. How do you get the yarn on your turkish spindles in such a great pattern?Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02306393089259457114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-1900667289241367652010-08-16T15:01:00.526-07:002010-08-16T15:01:00.526-07:00Oh, Katie is DEFINITELY louder than her boys - com...Oh, Katie is DEFINITELY louder than her boys - combined!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01550786937196525098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31671898.post-11004052021456706242010-08-16T14:46:24.523-07:002010-08-16T14:46:24.523-07:00Ah, yes, weaning here, too. One of the Shetland moms is louder than her boy!

I made my kids a treehouse many years and another house ago. I could always spin up another couple colors from my flock if I need more than five. It would be subtle, but that suits my tastes better than some of the bright, primary-color Fair Isle work anyway.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds my little sheep nightmarishly noisy at times. May it only last two days!
