Watercolors, Part 1

I wasn't sure I'd have much in the way of photos to share with you from last weekend, given the sodden forecast at the coast. But lucky you 😉; most of the rain fell (or blew sideways) at night, so I had LOTS of opportunities to get outside!

But before I dump the photos on you, here is my retreat report in a nutshell. It was wonderful! Not too crowded, a wonderful speaker, and that cooperative weather that gave me plenty of chances for my favorite activity – walking on the beach. I could watch the waves roll in all day – and they were really rolling! The run-off from the heavy rains created a lot of seafoam, too. I was on the beach at low tide and high tide, in high wind and no wind, by myself and with friends, and even found a handful of treasures. 😊

I'll lead off with a few short videos as much for me as for you; they give me little beach "fixes" as I need them.

That's a taste of the People's Coast, brought to you by . . .

I don't get to the beach nearly often enough anymore, Lorie. Sure hope I can get Lance over there for a ride at least ONCE this year!
