A post of photos and captions

NOT this morning; today we have flat, gray skies.

What was here

is now out there

thanks to my husband with the help of these.

It's fall y'all!

And with fall, these are emerging in my arena.

They are supposedly edible, but I'm a big 'fraidy cat.

Sunny roadside poppies on our Sabbath afternoon walk!
Yesterday Rick and I felled, cut, loaded, split, and stacked two dead oak trees.
These two are slowly making friends. 😍

You captured the very feeling of fall in these pictures!

We are not seeing any visual cues of fall in our area. The temps are cooling FINALLY, but I fear the color show will not be all that great this year!

Beautiful pictures! And the one of the two furry-friends is great! Please tell me the dog's name. I can't think of it!

Thanks, Mama Pea – we are having a fabulous one!

Glad you are cooling down at least, RK. We don't have a lot of color on our place yet, but there are plenty of bright spots to enjoy in town and when out and about.

Jeanne, that's Jackson, our Aussie.
