Spring, Easter, & April Fools' Day

No need to wait for May flowers around here; anyone who's followed me for awhile knows the Willamette Valley has flowers almost year-round. But the colors really start popping now through early fall, as evidenced by a little walk around our place,

and a longer walk around the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge.

(Okay, so those last two photos aren't of flowers, but I thought they were pretty just the same.)

It's a cool Easter here (started a fire in the wood-burner to warm up the house), but nothing like the 6-8" of snow that's fallen in some parts of Nebraska. 😱

No April foolin'; from the looks of Blake's neck, I'd better start rooing! (Right after I collect mid-side samples from everyone for micron testing....)
I am so behind at . . .

As always, I remain amazed at the beautiful blooming flowers on your land and in your immediate area. Wonder if we have any flowers . . . under the snow? ;o)

P.S. I could have done without that picture of the s-n-a-k-e. (((Shudder!)))
