More wildflowers

In a comment on my last post, Mama Pea marveled at the wildflowers we saw on our horse-camping trip. I only shared a few, some of the most colorful and spectacular. But there were many, many more. I tried to take photos of all of them, but know I missed at least five. (I was on horseback, and didn't want to try to get off, hold my horse, and stalk a blossom.) What follows are the others I did capture. I hope you enjoy seeing more of the natural beauty we enjoyed!

You have an eye for spotting wild flowers, that's for sure. Even the teeny-tiny ones! Thanks for providing so much color (again!) this morning. :o)

These are all just lovely. I've always found that its impossible to capture the true beauty of wildflowers most of the time because there's no way to really capture the whole landscape. The wildflowers on the Waterton side of Glacier/Waterton National Park come to mind. Blew my mind how gorgeous they were.

Those first two yellow ones... be still my heart! I did really enjoy all the photos, but those two captured me. Thanks for posting more!
