Wish you could have been there

This evening after chores, I decided to spend some time with my sheep. I grabbed my little stool and quickly got an audience with sweet-as-pie Bacall. Then Bardot joined us, and decided she needed to put her front feet in my lap to get closer. Bernadette saw our little cluster in the corner and came over for her share of attention. Bette stood back until I enticed her with wiggling fingers, and proceeded to fall completely under my spell for the first time. Finally Brigitte, who had been standing in the feeder eating hay with the ladies, joined us, trying to jump in my lap. When she discovered she no longer fit, she joined her sister in standing on her hind legs and pawing at me with her front feet. I would have taken a photo if I could have spared a hand, but my two were completely occupied keeping FIVE lovely little lamby-girls happy! What wonderful work. 😊

That's it for today from . . .

Early formation is so important with all babies - sheep are no different. Wonderful.

Sigh . . . it's such a shame you don't take better care of your sheep and give them more love and attention! ;o)
