Poems, prayers, and promises

After two full days of non-stop rain
The sun broke through our skies of gray.

The good Lord knew my desperate need
And filled it in His timely way.

Actions taken, cost unknown;
Let the chips fall where they may.

Prayers continue unabated
That all, in the end, will be okay.

Isn't riding on those misty, foggy muffled kind of days rather unearthly? I've always found it so. Hoof beats muffled by dew and damp, the air so still. Lance's handsome color so stands out amidst the muted shades of late winter. Hugs and hopeful prayers
to you and yours.

What a beautiful coat color and a sweet face. I am not much of a horse person but I could make an exception for that cute face. I don't follow your horse blog so could you post a better picture here of this handsome boy?

That's the best way to handle life's ups and downs, Michelle. Just pray, trust and carry on. And ride your horse!! Oh my, I lived a riding moment gazing through Lance's ears. Thanks! I'm getting so close, but these rains have to go. Me thinks my heavy-footed horse might get stuck... :(

Sometimes riding on misty, foggy days is fine, but that day I was given a much needed shot of sunshine, Theresa. I was schooling in the arena when the sunset colors starting showing, and had to head up our lane for a bigger dose of beauty. It was perfect!!!

RK, just click over to my horse blog and then click on the label "Lance." That will pull up lots of photos of my handsome horse!

Thanks, Mama Pea.

That's what I'm striving to do, Lorie. Believe me, I ride in all kinds of conditions (and often in the dark!) to get my horse therapy!

Thank-you, Debbie. I got a break in the weather for another ride yesterday afternoon, even though we had to slop through mud.

How sweet of you, Alison! Email sent....

I'm rather partial to him, too, Maggie. ;-)

Thank-you, Bill; that's a cherished compliment from a writer such as yourself. :-D

Rain? Rain....I'd kind of forgotten about that word. Haven't used it in such a long time! Maybe I'll see some in another couple of months!
