I'll take it!

Dawn this morning may not look like anything to write home about, but that modest touch of color was like a party in the sky compared to what we've been experiencing. The sun never really came out, but at least the rain gauge stayed empty after Brian dumped out the 5+ inches (it was overflowing). Fewer dog towels were required, and I squeezed in a ride on my horse. All in all, it was a good day at . . .

It's been horrible here as well. Poor miniature Herefords are up to their knees in mud. Another bunch of rain coming our way, tomorrow morning will be spent putting fir boughs into the lean-to. Stay safe.

Yeah for worked in rides! Rain and snow here, what a mess. Nothing like rain and sleet to ruin a good snow pack and it has no where to go. Then of course, more snow so it can all freeze and become ice!
