Mercury rising

Here we go again, back into the 90s, making this the hottest summer on record. Rather than focusing on that, the rampant wildfires, or the terrible air quality, here are some photos I took during Brian's violin lesson today.

We have been getting the smoke from the fires in the northwest for the past few days. I sure hope you all get some relief soon from the hot temps and fires.

You have been getting hammered this year! I hope the heat diminishes and you are back to a cool, moist climate. The fires are scary, too. I keep saying it's been a weird weather year, but I'm starting to repeat myself. The new normal is abnormal? Let's hope not!

Me, too, Nancy Kay; me, too.
