No vacancy

(Taken on my walk this morning.)

New housing was put on the market last night, and first thing this morning, new tenants moved in!
(Photos taken through my bedroom window this afternoon.)

Brian made this birdhouse last year, and Rick finally put it on a fence post on the south side of our house yesterday evening. We are thrilled that a pair of bluebirds have found it to their liking!

That's it for now from . . .

I love Bluebirds. I heard if you put one house up you have to put another up for the tree swallows so they don't drive the bluebirds out. Maybe that's only for Eastern Bluebirds, I'll have to look it up.

Oh, I am so glad about your bluebirds! I have been thinking of asking Keith to put up a house for us here at our new place.

Oh, what a wonderful thing to see. No matter what it looks like today, that lets us know that spring is coming.

Beautiful! We don't see blue birds in my neck of the woods. Taking care of the birds is so rewarding :)

We were rather incredulous at the speed at which the bluebird couple showed up to investigate – and thrilled!
