Monday music

Good morning, sunshine!

Brian has been working on a couple catchy fiddle tunes, and today at his lesson his teacher played back-up on bouzouki. I've always kept our YouTube videos unlisted, but Brian asked that these be made public, since we've looked up a lot of violin/fiddle pieces ourselves to see how they are to be played. Perhaps these will help some other budding fiddle player! (The first two are of the same piece, ended two different ways. Brian wants you to vote on your favorite.)  (-:

When I wasn't shooting video, I was working on my next knitting project:

That's it for now from . . .

What two talented men you have. I really enjoyed watching the videos. I vote for the second video ending.
Would love you to put more videos up of them playing.
Just fab.

Oh most definitely Two, well played, timing seemed to stay more constant too, but the MacDonald's March was the real toe tapper! Thank you both for posting those! Nice job Brian.

Brian is so talented; what a treat to hear him! I liked the first ending when I heard it; then I liked the second ending too! If I had to choose, I would probably go with the 2nd ending.

What a treat :-) So glad you shared them! If I were to pick, it would be the MacDonald's March :-)

2nd ending brought it to a certain conclusion rather than the repeat of the part A 1st ending.
Well done, great bowing! All of Brian's hard practicing (Mom's overseeing!) is paying off wonderfully.

Like all the others I preferred the second one, but maybe because I was getting into the tune, I don't know... however, it was lovely that you shared your son's video, he is very talented and I hope he makes records sooner rather than later;;; great stuff!!!
