A day late and a dog short

Yesterday afternoon my neighbor friend called to see if I wanted to go for a brisk walk on a beautiful day at nearby Willamette Mission State Park. Since Rick was tending to a veterinary emergency, she got the package deal – me, Brian, and Jackson. (Dozer wouldn't have been able to handle the distance or the temperature.)

I snapped a few photos with my iPhone to share. I have to admit it was hard to see all the horse trailers and riders; yes, "I'd rather be riding." (And promptly did so when I got home.)

That's it for yesterday at . . .

If Dozer could choose for himself, he would have chosen to stay home I am sure. That is where the couch is. That is what English Bull Dogs do. :-)

Love those bullies.

It's so nice to be able to get out and hike. I have taken my dogs on two short walks so far -- the dachshund doesn't last long.

I'm fascinated by the metal house outlines across the river. Ed and I rode bikes at WSP (our first time there!) a couple weeks ago and I didn't notice them. But then, we missed seeing the sign to the Black Cottonwood tree. The park was closed to horses due to high water across some of the trails.
