The apple doesn't fall far from the tree

If Bali is the apple, here is the tree:

This afternoon Sarai met me at the gate of the breeding pen, so I put a halter on her, trimmed her long toes, and changed her coat from a size D with a big hole in the flank to a size E. The lighter fleece shot was taken last rib, mid-side; the darker fleece shot was taken on her top line above her shoulders. Good length for a super-crimp that was rooed on June 1! Sarai smelled a bit rammy; crossing my fingers that she and Blake have been chummy. ;-)

I would love it if there were already some lovely buns in the oven.

;-)

That's it for today from . . .

I hope there are buns in all the ovens that you anticipate. I will take the breads when they're done. Thanks.

Well, get over here, farmlady! There's fresh bread on the counter and Brian and I just had a hot heel each!

Oh, my goodness! What beautiful fleece! I can smell that bread and there is nothing - nothing - like a warm heel of fresh baked bread. With lots of butter!

Your sheep have such lovely fleece...it does make me think of a wool sheep or two if we ever get our new farm
