A great time was had by all!

When I checked email last night, I had to laugh at how Zelda's 'dogma' coincided with our weekend activities!

We did have s'more fun, too – riding (my inexperienced young horse was AWESOME) and eating and visiting and singing around the campfire and walking the dogs and enjoying the beauty of the Santiam State Forest. Got plenty of spinning in, too. Eight of us camped at Santiam Horse Camp (a 'cadillac' facility, with its log corrals, beautiful campsites, nice trails, and pit toilets), and another three joined us for Sabbath afternoon. I'll leave you with a bunch of images which will give a much better idea of our good time than my words can.

Now we're back at . . .

Love the shot with Lance and your spinning! What a beautiful spot - and a perfect getaway. That's my kind of vacation...

Beth, I have to admit I don't find camping to be worth the effort and disrupted sleep without taking a horse to ride!

Sara, Tina and Mary Ann: yep. :-)

Susan, I was fortunate to get a good shot withOUT Lance grabbing my spindle!
