Tuesday's totals

Tour de Fleece, day 4:

I collected seven eggs, including the first pullet egg. Can you tell which one it is?
The one on the left is from the henhouse, the one on the right is from one of the sexlink pullets (who need to be moved into the henhouse SOON). Someone did herself proud with her very first egg!

Our lavender is beginning to bloom. It's not in a beautifully hardscaped garden like Sara's.

Our "bonus plums" are beginning to ripen. (I call them bonus plums because our decorative flowering plum produces them. They are quite tasty, both sweet and tart at the same time. I'll bet they'd make good jam!)
I also had a very good dressage lesson on Lance!

That's it for Tuesday from . . .

Browning is looking good on that spool. I guess I'm out on the tour this year. Adding a milk cow to my schedule has me pressed for time. Happy spinning!

That spool is looking better and better (and BIGGER). And what a nice, big egg for the first one - those sex links are great chickens. I looked at Lance's video and he is a beautiful horse - what fun you two will have!

Good job on the first egg. Did I mention I want a wooly winder, LOL, I do have 3 bobbins full so far. Need to empty some to be able to spin today.

Trade you some fresh yarn for some fresh Jersey milk, Kim!

Those miniSpinner bobbins hold a TON, Susan! I wish the sexlinks were black (just because I want some black chickens), but can't complain about their production abilities.

You COULD wind the singles off onto something else if you really don't want to ply, Audrey.

What a bonus! That looks like an awful lot of plums too! I am so jealous, I so miss riding...I haven't ridden since I had to sell my horse back ages ago when I got divorced. I was learning dressage as well!:D
Hugs and enjoy the day my dear friend!

Mary Ann, I got another, smaller pullet egg on Wednesday – and NONE from the "big girls"!

Thanks, Shine!

Something else we share, Beth! ;-)
