Partially successful

On this busy, beautiful day, I tried to get some updated lamb candy shots. Bing is ever the difficult subject, being black and friendly. This didn't help:
Sarai perceived that my presence in the pasture was purposed just for her. I plucked off some loose tufts; I suspect that under her coat she is starting to roo. The shearer comes on April 2; hold on to your wool, sheep!

I did manage to sneak some shots of chocolately goodness, though.
Bittersweet is an utterly stunning ram lamb - I'm not sure I could take a bad picture of him! I love his expression; so full of open interest and self-confidence. Other than being a half-poll (instead of fully horned or fully polled), I just can't see a flaw anywhere. I think he could benefit any flock whose goals are fine fleece and excellent conformation. If he had different plumbing, he'd definitely be staying here!

That's it for today from . . .

Don't you wish that plumbing was as easy to change as a trip to the hardware store, lol. I have noticed a couple of my sheep have long strands of wool following them around, my shearer is coming April 1st.

Those babies are so cute. I'm having lamb lust.
The first photo of Bing is so like my Nubians. They want all the attention don't they. Sweet photo.

Too cute. Is the wool different on the two lambs?

Sorry to be so late in replying, Sara. The twins have pretty similar coats in softness and crimp. The little girl has a bit of "lamb halo" that her brother doesn't have, but I'm not sure there will be as much difference once they mature.
