A girl could get whiplash...

...trying to keep up with the weather!

By the time I was finished with chores it had mostly stopped snowing, after depositing at least four inches of fluffy powder. I would have taken more photos for it truly was beautiful, but I needed all my extra time for the drive into town. I crept down our hill in second gear, testing the brakes once only to confirm that stopping on demand would not be possible. Thankfully there was no need to brake before getting to the valley floor where the roads were just wet.

By the time I got home, the sun was shining on the biggest snowman Boulderneigh has ever seen!

Now the snow is mostly gone and the sky is clear, promising a cold night. Maybe it will be spring again tomorrow!

That's it for now from . . .

What an adorable snowman builder you have! Weather has been crazy like that around here, too. Driving my brother to the airport this morning. Sure hope it is uneventful.

Yep. we have 70 degrees and then yesterday it was snowing. In the middle of a sunny day. Weird. And hard on my seedlings in the greenhouse. First they are freezing and then they are fired. Jeez.

Yes this weather is very strange, Nice day Monday, cloudy, heavy winds yesterday, this morning there is ice in Bella's water bucket. But my Daffodils are in full bloom, making me think it is nice when the sun is out.

I am so glad I waited and bred the Shetlands late, maybe by May when they lamb it will be nice. 2 single Dorper lambs this week is about all I can cope with.
