Blustery day and more Bing

It is cold, windy, wet and sometimes even a little snowy here today - a good day for Annabelle to lamb, right? (Right, Annabelle?) I have my heart set on giving her lambs (surely she's carrying twins) chocolate names since their sire is Cadbury, but "Leap lambs" would seem to require names befitting their rare and auspicious birthdate. So I'm rooting for today....

Meanwhile, Bing has me wrapped around his tiny, shiny black hoof:
There is nothing - nothing - sweeter than a newborn who already melts or wags his tail at the touch of your fingers!

That's it for today from . . .

What a cutie! So did she lamb?

Not as of the last time I checked, and she really wasn't showing any signs of labor. But being an experienced ewe, I think she could progress faster than Marta did. Will watch her for awhile when we go down to do evening chores.

So sweet - and I have to wait at least a month before our lambs start arriving :(

I'm so envious! I have a little over 4 weeks now before the first lamb is due. Don't you love it? I never get tired of watching the babies-it's a miracle, every time. He's a pretty cute boy!

Oh my. Oh my goodness. I can't wait until Mim's lambs start to drop. Here is NOTHING like a newborn lamb!
