Lookee!!!

Or, if you are one of those buried under snow and ice who might be seized with severe "season envy" - NO LOOKEE!!!)

I always forget about our little area of snowdrops until they surprise me with their winter blooms. This year I got my surprise on Sunday. (They are much prettier in person, but it's been too wet and grey to get decent photos of anything outdoors.)

The candytuft in the bed nearest the front door almost always have a few flowers; in the spring they will become a MASS of white.

Around the corner from the front door, the sarcacocca flowers are opening. Interesting that all these winter bloomers have white flowers!

Total number of mini-sweaters knit: seven. Current inventory of mini-sweaters: five. I knit two more in pastels this week (using up that remnant of yarn), and gave one away. (The first one I made in the other colorway also has a new home.) On to another bit of leftover yarn!

That's it for now from . . .

LOL!! I love your white flowers! And all the green. I saw a little bit of green yesterday as some for the snow was melting, but you had to look really close.
I love those little sweaters too. I will have to try them after I finish the several knitting projects I have going now. (Baby shower in two weeks!)

Love the little sweaters - what a fun way to use up ends of yarn!

Oh, how I needed some promise of new life and spring. Do you have a pattern for those mini sweaters?

Oops, I found another wee sweater so had to amend the post! Kelly, I got the pattern on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/top-down-mini-raglan

With a title like that...I had to look. : - (

No blooms till we get rid of the 3+ feet of snow and the ice glaze...

But the sweaters are great!!

Sorry, Sis. ;-)

Oh boy are those mini sweaters cute. If we had flowers popping up I might be tempted to put one on them to keep it warm! ;) Still snow on the ground here and ice, lots of evil, oh god I am going to fall on my butt or break an elbow ice.

Oh Theresa; be careful down there! I think I'll donate some mini-sweaters to the pet shelter gift shop; they just might sell.

Hi Michelle! Love the mini swetaers....could be a cute Christmas decoration for next years tree? But cut out the Spring tease, will ya? I won't be seeing green for quite a while now.....my houseplants are looking good, though! :0)

Those dang sweaters are just too cute! ...and I have leftover sock yarns. Thanks for posting the ravelry link. I just might have to do some myself! Oh! And go check on the jonquils in the front bed for signs of activity.

It doesn't seem possible that there is green somewhere. I think our high today was -8 with windchills in the -20s or worse. I'm tired of winter...
