Christmas craziness

That's got to be the reason behind my alternating lack of inspiration/lack of appropriate photos/lack of time that keeps me from blogging the way I would like to. Right now it's the last of those three reasons, with a strong showing by #2, that has me throwing this out there for now.

Out with pink; in with black. Say what? Tonight I was in our local chain farm store (Wilco) and decided to see what they had for insulated overalls. None for women, so I looked at the men's. The Key brand bib style came in barf-brown, dark brown, and black - I like black! And they had elastic at the back waist, something I thought only women's styles have. So I tried on a small regular and a small tall, and although I will need to take up the shoulder straps (a lot), they are generously long (without dragging when snapped) in the leg. SOLD! Now to sell that short pink pair.... If anybody out there is interested in them for what I paid for them, email me!

That's it for now from ready-for-the-cold . . .

Michelle, we will expect a fashion shot...I like the idea of the elastic band in the back. I have a dandy pair of adult Carhart onesies (the thermal one-piece) that are a life-saver during frigid temps. They are a bugger when you have to go to the loo, however.

Hmmm...I like the bib overalls idea, they stay up! I'm forever pulling up my insulated Carhartt pants, so maybe next time I need a pair I'll consider bibs.

Karen, check out the Key brand if you can; they were almost half the price of the Carrharts! My old pair has arms, which are not always easy to wrangle on and off. I'm really looking forward to using the bibs!
