A split-second change in attitude

Don't you just hate how one little accident can ruin a whole year? At least that's the way it feels at the moment. I know, feelings are fickle. Maybe I'll feel better after talking to the insurance adjustor. Maybe what he offers us when he totals our car will buy a bigger skateboard than I think. Maybe I'll go to bed early and not come out from under the covers until 2011.

(Don't worry; I'll still draw a name for photo notecards. Maybe.)

OK...I thought you MISSED the SUV and guardrail. What's the insurance adjuster for?????

Just stopped in to wish you a very Happy New Year! Here's hoping things go way better for everyone in '10 and we all have ewe lambs!
Cheers!

Oh no Michelle, I'm so sorry, but I am so glad that you are well enough to write a blog entry, because that means despite how serious it was for your vehicle, you are going to be OK. That is the most important thing. Blessed be.

Thanks, Claire, and yes, you're right. That fact that none involved were hurt is a great blessing. So is the fact that my husband was nearby to pick Brian and me up. Things certainly could have been worse. Things could be BETTER, but they could also be much, much worse....

So on a lighter note, is that like starting off the New Year with a bang?:) Seriously, glad to hear you are fine. What would life be like if it was stress free?

So sorry to hear this. It can get so slippery out this way, with our fickle weather. You are so very loved and deserving of good things: take care of yourself while you recover.

Oh drat! The mildest thing I could think to put on someone elses blog! It's such a shock isn't it? I hope you're both ok. 2009 was quite a year wasn't it? Let's hope that 2010 brings better times xx

Word verification is "mend"... oh the irony!

Hope you are all well, and that whatever the damage was, it can be replaced and the insurance will come through. Tammy
