Easter weekend recap

Friday was indeed good. The "mighty mites" (Brava's twins) enjoyed room to run in a pocket pasture, safe from the rowdy gulmusketeers.
Unlike Jesus in the tomb, Butter did not rest on Sabbath. She worked hard to deliver the largest lamb of the year.

Today my friend Pam came out with little Hannah and her grown son Jacob to see the lambs. Rick staged an Easter egg hunt for the kids, whose enthusiasm was unfazed by the wind and spitting rain. Later, we went to a spring banquet at our church, where we enjoyed a program on the Old Testament tabernacle and all its rich symbolism (culminating in what we celebrate this weekend) while eating a delicious meal of Middle Eastern food. While there, I finished this little Karlchen hat - turned inside out to go with that Baby Surprise Jacket I knit as a baby shower gift.
That was our Easter weekend at . . .

Looks like a wonderful Easter week end! I have been so bad at keeping up on the blogs. You have been a very busy lady with all those beautiful babies!! Now I'll go and catch up on the rest of your life!

Spinning and knitting...
I think I would enjoy using a spinning wheel, but the drop spindle was an affordable way for me to get into it. Knitting, however makes me a little crazy - I get all tense and so enjoy it not at all! I do crochet every once in awhile, though.

Congratulations on a successful lambing season Michelle!! Good looking lambs all...that last one is a brute!! I think Barrabus is a very fitting name for him.
Glad you had a nice Easter weekend.
