Brava DOES have a friend

My friendly little Brava is the outsider in the ewe group. It doesn't seem to bother her that everyone else tries to push her out of the hay and grain; she is persistent. Before she got so ugly with Rechel today, she basked in the love of her one four-legged friend - Jackson. She and Braveheart, both from AZ, are the only ones of my sheep who are not leery of Jackson. In fact, both of them seem to enjoy Jackson's licks and nuzzles, getting that dreamy expression of a Shetland on "petting narcotics." See for yourself:

The sun is glorious today. Nothing new is blooming here, but the flowering plum tree and daffodils are still giving it their all. Enjoy!

That's it for now at . . .

This is what the ewes do here when Tibby the cat comes around. They melt down right into a puddle, just to get her to rub and lick their faces. I'm glad Brava has a friend. You get to feeling a bit sorry for them, til they turn around a act like she did with the new momma. Anyway, beautiful pictures as always!
